With a long life of > 100,000 hours at nominal DC voltage and + 70 ºC, the MKP1848S has been optimised for inverters, power supplies, solar micro-inverters, on-board chargers (EV/HEV), pumps, and LED drives.
The DC-link capacitor features capacitance tolerance down to ± 5 %, low self- inductance of < 1 nH per mm of lead spacing, high peak current capabilities to 900 A, and high RMS current to 22 A. Offered in a flame-retardant plastic case with a resin seal, the device features a high operating temperature to + 105 ºC, is lead (Pb)-free and RoHS-compliant, and introduces halogen-free materials to Vishay”s portfolio of film capacitors.
