Aerco, in partnership with TT Electronics, now offers an extension to the high performance ABMP range of connectors by stocking the ultra high speed Octrain contacts.
Octrain contacts are fully tested up to 10Gb data rates for ethernet performance with CAT 6A and CAT7 cables. This makes them the ideal solution for handling high speed data requirements in key industries such as the rail sector, with it’s ever increasing demand for data consumption.
The ABMP range has a modular construction and is based on MIL-DTL 5015 and VG95234 reverse bayonet specifications. It is sealed to IP67, designed to withstand high vibration and meets the requirement for 500 mating cycles. The Octrain contact’s compact design enables it to be used with the ABMP connector, thereby bringing high speed interconnection into harsh environments.
The combination of Octrain contacts with the ABMP connector range provides engineers and designers with an excellent solution when looking to achieve high speed data performance across the broad spectrum of applications, both in-car and trackside, that are found within the rail market.
