TTI, a world leading specialist distributor of electronic components, has recently won the Gold Award from TDK Europe for International Volume Distribution in Europe. In 2016, prizes (Gold, Silver and Bronze) were awarded for the first time in three categories: International Volume Distribution, Local Distribution and High-Service Distribution. TTI was the only winner in the category International Volume Distribution, and also scored the highest number of points in achieving the Gold Award.

The award is a great acknowledgement of our close partnership with TDK, and for all of our hard work promoting their outstanding product portfolio,” said Felix Corbett, director supplier marketing Europe at TTI.
Dietmar Jaeger, head of TDK’s distribution business in Europe and vice president of global sales distribution, at the recent awards ceremony in Munich, commented, ‘It is a pleasure for me to be able to present TTI with our gold award today. TTI has managed to further improve its performance within the Senten Manten criteria and achieved its highest score ever. This is clear proof of our excellent cooperation and relationship on all levels of both companies.’
The awards are based on TDK’s annual Senten Manten distributor performance evaluation program. The Japanese term, Senten Manten, stands for the perfect result, which is achieved by earning 1000 points. The award recognises the distributors’ performance and collaboration with TDK in four categories: business performance, inventory management, contractual terms, and operational excellence. To be recognised, distributors must have a score of at least 600.
