TTI named as TE Connectivity’s Broadline Global Distributor of the Year for an unprecedented six out of seven years

TE Connectivity recognises TTI for outstanding performance

TTI, a world leading specialist distributor of electronic components, was recognised by TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, as the 2015 Broadline Distributor of the Year for the sixth time in the past seven years during TE’s annual Global Distribution Summit in Atlanta, USA. During the awards ceremony, executives from TE highlighted the outstanding performance of TTI in the European region.

The annual award recognises TE’s top performing distribution partners based on sales and customer growth, business plan performance along with TE share and engagement. TTI’s ability to exceed sales and customer growth plans worldwide positioned the company for the sixth time in seven years as TE‘s top broadline distributor partner.

“Winning this award for six out of seven years is a great achievement for TTI globally,” said Glyn Dennehy, president EMEA, TTI, Europe. “TE Connectivity is our single largest supplier partner and the world’s largest manufacturer and supplier of connectivity components. TTI Europe was highlighted during the award presentation as they made significant contributions to TTI’s overall success. Across all of the industry segments we serve, it is clear that TTI is now the best performing distributor for interconnect components – as we have been for passives. Customers continue to demonstrate their preference for TTI to provide TE products based on our field sales expertise and strong inventory position. I would like to congratulate the TTI and TE teams in all regions who have worked so hard to support existing and new customers.”

“TTI grew their TE sales in a challenging market and increased their inventory of TE products by 17 per cent, demonstrating their commitment to our company. I am pleased with their accomplishments and the strength of their partnership with TE,” said Joan Wainwright, president, channel and customer experience, TE Connectivity.
