New customers up six per cent; greatest sales growth from existing customers across entire Harwin product range; outstanding commitment and service from specialist distributor
Harwin, the leading hi-rel connector and SMT board hardware manufacturer, announces that it has awarded its European Sales Excellence Award 2015-2016 to TTI Europe, the leading distributor of passive, connector, electromechanical, discrete, power and sensor components, with specialist knowledge of many markets, including hi-rel, transportation and industrial. TTI Europe scooped the award by increasing sales in Europe over 2015-16, achieving both the greatest sales growth from the existing customer base and also growing the number of new Harwin customers by six per cent over the previous year. Sales by TTI Europe increased across the entire Harwin product portfolio and in all markets. In addition, TTI Europe demonstrated sales excellence by its outstanding customer retention rate and investment in inventory.
Presenting the Award to Ronald Velda, director of supplier marketing, TTI vice president, Harwin European sales manager, Gavin Darling, said: “It’s a truly great pleasure to present TTI Europe with this year’s European Sales Excellence Award. Our sales in Europe over the past year have been buoyant and we are pleased with the performance of our distribution partners overall, but TTI has shown outstanding commitment to the Harwin brand through enlarging our customer base and increasing order values from existing customers across the entire product portfolio to achieve this excellent result. Our mutual customers benefit greatly not only from TTI’s policy of holding broad and deep inventory of our parts for immediate shipment from its facility in Germany, but also the knowledge and experience of its staff in its 46 European sales branches.
