TRaC is now set to play an integral part in Continua’s Certification program, performing testing and certification on health care, fitness and medical devices including blood pressure monitors, heart rate monitors and independent living aids, to ensure devices which display the Continua logo meet the requirements of the Continua Design Guidelines and its standards and specifications to establish interoperability of personal health devices.

Continua is an international not-for-profit industry organization enabling end-to-end, plug-and-play connectivity of personal health devices and services. TRaC has been a member of Continua Health Alliance for more than two years and has played an active role in developing standards across the industry.
The organisation is a pioneer in establishing industry standards and security for connected health technologies such as smartphones, gateways and remote monitoring devices. Its activities include a certification and brand support program, events and collaborations to support technology and clinical innovation. It currently has nearly 250 member companies from around the world comprising of technology, medical device and health care and service providers.
