The Electronics Industry Awards – entry deadline extended

Datateam Business Media has extended the deadline to enter the Electronics Industry Awards by another two weeks

Nominations and entries for the Electronics Industry Awards have been flying in over the last month, but following feedback from the industry, the deadline has been extended to 9am on Tuesday 29th May to give even more companies the opportunity to put themselves in the running for an award.

The Electronics Industry Awards has been launched in association with CIE Magazine and with the full support of Electronics Magazine, ECSN and What’s New In Electronics. The awards are designed to recognise the many successes in the electronics industry, celebrating outstanding companies, people and products.

A full list of award categories and the nomination/entry form can be found on the Electronics Industry Awards website. Anyone can enter into any of the relevant categories. They may also nominate other companies and individuals for an award using the same simple online form. Entries and nominations must meet the necessary criteria to be allowed through to the voting stage. A secure online voting process will then select the finalists in each category, with the winners being the nominee that receives the most votes overall, putting the power into the industry’s hands for the first time.

CIE editor, Amy Wallington, says: “There has been such a great response to the awards since the entries opened last month. We are seeing so many exciting products being entered along with great companies and individuals being nominated – recognising the incredible work they do for the industry. The industry will have a hard task choosing the winners when the voting opens!”

The Electronics Industry Awards ceremony will take place at the NCC Birmingham on the evening of Tuesday 25th September 2018.
