KOA and Bourns top the poll; AVX, FCI, Kemet, Littelfuse, Molex, Murata, Vishay and Yageo also score highly in prestigious and rigorously-monitored continuous improvement initiative

TTI, a world leading specialist distributor of electronic components, has announced the winners in its annual Supplier Excellence Awards, a prestigious review of performance based on rigorous analysis of a number of different metrics including on-time delivery, administrative quality, operations and business systems and joint customer support.

The 2015 winners were: AVX, Bourns, FCI (now AFCI), Kemet, KOA, Littelfuse, Molex, Murata, Vishay and Yageo. Five companies – Bourns, Kemet, Molex, Murata and Vishay – were further awarded with Platinum status, indicating that they have been recognised for excellence for at least five consecutive years running. Bourns also attained Diamond Supplier status for the highest overall points score (122) and was additionally named Global Operations Excellence Award Winner. KOA was presented with the trophy for Best Quality Award Winner.

Geoff Breed, TTI’s vice president of marketing in Europe, said: “These awards are not only an opportunity for us to thank our suppliers for their effort and commitment to TTI and our customers over the past year, but also serve as part of a continuous improvement program, helping to increase performance metrics so that together we can improve the service that we offer to our customers. All of the winners deserve our full congratulations. We would also like to further recognise both Bourns and KOA for their outstanding results in the 2015 program. Thank you again for everyone’s contribution and exceptional levels of performance.”
