In 2011 our delivery performance within a seven-day window was at 96 per cent and we now stand at 99.9 per cent within a three-day window. Our quality performance stood at 98 per cent and we can now boast 99.7 per cent.

“Being a part of the SC21 programme has also delivered commercial opportunities for Stadium IGT with new customers and a network of like-thinking companies.

“As we work towards the SC21 silver award and the AS9100 aerospace standard we are adopting the 5S program and further improving our lean manufacturing techniques. SC21 has provided a formula and platform for best practice in our business.”

Vince Light, managing director and Gordon Webb, quality manager at Stadium IGT received this latest award from Dr Chris Owen, chief executive of the SMMT industry forum at an SC21 task force event held last month.

Supply Chains for the 21st Century is an improvement programme designed to increase the performance of suppliers and ultimately their supply chains within the UK aerospace, security, space and defence industries. The programme is a collaborative effort, with ADS leading the programme at a national level working with signatory companies, primes, regional trade associations (RTAs), strategic partners and accredited training providers.

Stadium IGT will be exhibiting on stand S4-151 on the ADS UK Pavilion at DSEI between 12 – 15 September 2017 at ExCeL, London. The event will host over 1,600 exhibitors from air, land, naval, security and joint sectors, and will attract an audience of over 34,000.
