Rutronik receives “Best Growing Distributor” award from Sumida

Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH recently received the “Best Growing Distributor in Europe 2016” award from Sumida Components & Modules GmbH.

Rutronik has been a key sales partner of Vogt electronic, which like Stelco has been incorporated in the Sumida Group, since 2001. Since 2014 Rutronik and Sumida have been working together Europe-wide; the franchise covers all products suitable for distribution from the extensive Sumida product portfolio.

Sumida develops and manufactures inductive components ranging from standard products to complex customised modules. The product range includes power inductors and chip coils, power and signal transformers, output and high-current chokes, feedthrough and trimming capacitors, EMC components, filters and RF coils.

“Sumida covers the entire range of inductive components with highly innovative products – especially for the automotive market – and is therefore one of Rutronik’s focus manufacturers. Customers also benefit from excellent technical support and customer service,” says Stefan Sutalo, manager, Passive Components at Rutronik.

Thomas Kerscher, vice president Sales Europe at Sumida, adds: “The figures confirm the strong presence of Rutronik in our most important target markets – manufacturing industry and automotive – and its possession of the required know-how to successfully market our components: Rutronik has generated the highest growth rate within our distribution network in the business year 2015/2016.”
