At the electronica 2016 show, Rubycon presented Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH with its Distributor Excellence Award, in recognition of Rutronik having achieved the Rubycon distributor network”s highest sales growth in Europe in 2016.
Rubycon is the world’s second largest manufacturer of electrolytic capacitors, and Rutronik has been distributing its products for over 15 years. The company’s focus is on capacitor technologies embodying high levels of reliability. Special features include high ripple withstand capacity, low ESR, long service life, and high temperature resistance. They are primarily used in industrial applications and in the demanding automotive market.
“Rubycon markets a broad portfolio of highly competitive products, as well as offering custom solutions and providing top-class, readily accessible technical support,” says Simon Wachsmann, Rutronik’s electrolytic and polymer capacitors product manager. “As a result, Rubycon has delivered the most projects and the top sales growth among all our manufacturers over the last three years. Demand for reliable, high-grade capacitors has been growing especially in the industrial inverters market for drives and pumps, in the renewable energy sector, as well as in powertrain and safety-related applications onboard vehicles, and we have been highly successful in serving that demand with Rubycon’s products.”
“Rutronik is very strongly represented in our key automotive and industrial target markets – as was impressively demonstrated by the substantial sales growth achieved again this year,” comments Rubycon Europe general manager, Naoki Irifune. “Thanks to the very close collaboration between our teams in Europe, Asia and America, we are able to provide fast local support backup, and so meet the challenges of a global market together. Our team of engineers in Japan also assists Rutronik’s product marketing directly in responding to technical queries or fulfilling special requests.”
