Parker Chomerics’ booth at DVD2018 to display the latest conductive elastomer technology for use in military land vehicles

The Chomerics Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global leader in motion and control technologies, has announced that visitors to the Defence Vehicle Dynamics 2018 exhibition (Millbrook, Bedfordshire, UK, 19-20 September) can see displays of the latest EMI shielding and corrosion-prevention technologies for defence electronics equipment at the Parker UK stand C3-706.

For more than 50 years Parker Chomerics has been a leader in the development and application of electrically conductive elastomers for use as extruded, moulded and form-in-place EMI gaskets for military applications. Chomerics products have been designed into thousands of applications and help guarantee their performance, integrity, survivability and maintainability.

Typical applications include access doors, control electronics and communication equipment, antenna gaskets, structural panels, vision systems and battery management.

At DVD2018, the UK’s largest live military vehicle show, Parker Chomerics experts are available to demonstrate the latest products, including CHO-SEALconductive elastomer technology for sealing and shielding door apertures and electronic enclosures in land vehicles. The Parker UK stand C3-706 will also be displaying electrically conductive coatingsand sealantsfor effective shielding and corrosion protection.

Visitors to the Parker UK stand will also be able to see Chomerics’ Premier PBT-225, an electrically conductive plastic which can be used to form robust and weight-saving gaskets and EMI shields. PremierPBT-225 is growing in popularity as a replacement for aluminium or steel gaskets, as it is substantially lighter while offering a good level of attenuation of EMI over a broad frequency range.

The Parker Chomerics stand C3-706 will also feature Parker Chomerics’ LCD protection and enhancement products, and its THERM-A-GAP thermally conductive gels.
