Northern Manufacturing & Electronics, the North’s top industrial technology and electronics event, returns to EventCity, Manchester from September 30th to October 1st 2015. This year”s show is approaching a sell-out, with over 250 firms expected to take part. Along with more exhibitors, the show presents a new feature, RoadRailAir, highlighting the region”s key position in the UK’s automotive, public transport and aerospace manufacturing sectors.
Northern Manufacturing & Electronics brings together a broad cross-section of the UK Electronics industry, together with a wide selection of associated products and services from general industry, such as sheet metal, consumables and production equipment. The show also offers a two-day free seminar programme in which world-class presenters explain the current concepts in manufacturing, engineering and industrial management. Of particular interest is a keynote presentation by Dr. David Bailey, CEO of the North West Aerospace Alliance (NWAA), entitled Technology Opportunities and Challenges in the Aerospace Supply Chain. The aerospace industry in the region generates over £7bn annually and the NWAA is its principle organisation. Other sessions cover additive manufacturing, CE marking legislation, Lean, new product development and protection of intellectual copyright.
