The IZT R3600 is suitable for both fixed and mobile applications and can be synchronised with an external GPS reference. The scalable multi-channel receiver system reduces the number of external devices and minimises overall system costs. The modular concept makes the device easy to maintain.
The compact design in one 19-inch, 8 U chassis facilitates easy transport and set-up. With the IZT R3600, IZT meets the requirements of a multitude of applications such as ITU-R spectrum monitoring measurements, real-time signal analysis, spectrum allocation analysis, automatic signal detection, search, intercept and direction finding, strategic and tactical reconnaissance.
The IZT R3600 provides integrated frequency and clock conditioning. An internal calibration unit reduces downtime to a minimum. Providing a high stability reference, the IZT R3600 performs high-precision direction finding and can take bearings of all signals in a wide frequency range of up to 6 GHz. It allows users to analyze and demodulate modern digital wideband signals as well as to track or intercept frequency agile systems over a wide range of bandwidths. The exceptional receive characteristics and a 24 MHz real-time bandwidth allows for handling of wideband signals while exceeding the performance of traditional narrowband receivers. The integrated high speed processing core with its 4096-point FFT processor offers a real-time bandwidth of up to 24 MHz for both time and frequency domain for each channel simultaneously.
The IZT R3600 is the newest member of the IZT R3000 receiver family combing high frequency technologies with the latest developments in digital signal processing, providing one of the most comprehensive receiver platforms available today. Four models offer maximum flexibility for every application: Besides the IZT R3600, the IZT R3000 and IZT R3200 are 19-inch models with 1 U respectively 2 U height. Both models can be used with a controlling PC. The IZT R3301 is a stand-alone system with front control panel.
