MSA Manufacturing to exhibit at Advanced Engineering Show

Leading machining and kit-cutting specialists MSA Manufacturing are excited to announce they will be exhibiting at the UK’s largest annual gathering of manufacturers and supply chain, the Advanced Engineering Show, taking place 1st / 2nd November at the NEC, Birmingham.

MSA Manufacturing machine a wide range of materials including foam core, glass and ballistics plate

Dorset based MSA Manufacturing was established in 1969 providing kitting tool chests to the defence and aerospace industries. The company then moved into the marine industry to begin kitting foam core and reinforcement parts. MSA’s kitting service, which includes flattening surfaces, managing the material supply and organising the kit as well as cutting, provides customers with reduced manufacturing and lead times, improved productivity, lower waste/disposal and administration costs and consistent build quality.

Today the company provides additional key services including prepreg and dry reinforcement cutting, digital engineering, 3D scanning, reverse engineering, reinforcement 2D preforming and machining of different materials including e-plate, c-plate and ballistics plate. MSA is particularly active in the marine, automotive, renewables and aerospace industries.

The Advanced Engineering Show is comprised of five events covering the aerospace and automotive sectors, composite engineering, performance metals and, new for this year, a connected manufacturing area. It is one of the fastest growing industry meetings and offers exhibitors and visitors a chance to see the latest and most innovative advancements within the engineering industry, alongside gaining new business contacts.

MSA CEO Max Osmond commented: “We are very much looking forward to returning to the NEC for the Advanced Engineering Show. Our capability in machining and cutting many different types of materials does mean we can offer clients a unique and full service and we look forward to the opportunity to meet potential new clients and to catch up with industry colleagues.”

The MSA stand is located in the Composites Engineering area of the show, stand number L163.
