Mouser Electronics, Inc., has announced a global distribution agreement with Power Dynamics, Inc. (PDI), a world leader in interconnect and EMC products and solutions. PDI’s product portfolio of connectors feature a variety of IP67/68/69-rated cable and panel connectors specifically geared toward harsh industrial environments, such as those found in agriculture, medical electronics, food and beverage, and wet marine environments.
The PDI product line, available now from Mouser Electronics, include the company’s three Harsh Environment series connectors. The Harsh Environment series 1 offers UL-rated crimp termination connectors with up to 20A, 400V max power contact ratings. The cable and panel connectors provide IP68/IP69K protection for over 1,000 mating cycles. The Harsh Environment series 2 crimp termination connectors feature contact power ratings up to 2A at 175V per contact. The unmated IP67-rated receptacle and bayonet-lock connector provides protection for over 5,000 mating cycles. The Harsh Environment series 3 connectors offer three to eight contacts rated up to 3A 125V per contact. The series 3 connectors are available in solder- or PC-termination options with snap-lock IP67 mated protection for over 500 mating cycles. PDI’s Harsh Environment series are offered in multiple mated and unmated configurations with approved wire gauges up to 26 AWG. Each of PDI’s locking plugs and mating connectors provide a safe and secure connection that cannot back out when twisted.
