Mouser presents first Customer Awards at electronica 2016

Mouser Electronics Inc. presented awards to two of its key European customers at electronica 2016. During an inaugural ceremony held on the Mouser stand, Mouser’s director of customer services, EMEA, Graham Munson, named the BMK Group as the winner for the Long Term Partnership Award 2016, and Vierling Production GmbH for the largest growth. Both companies are leading German contract manufacturers.

Munson said: “This is the first time that we have given Customer Awards in Europe. Our business in EMEA has experienced significant growth over a number of years, and we wanted to take the opportunity to recognise some of our key customers who have helped us grow. BMK has been a long term partner of Mouser and we have developed a very good working relationship together, leading to the achievement of shared objectives. Vierling has used our huge available inventory to reduce costs and eliminate large MOQs, resulting in a significant increase in business. We congratulate both companies and thank them, and all our other customers, for their business and partnerships.”

Susanne Gujber, head of purchasing at BMK, replied: “We are honoured that Mouser appreciates doing business with us. We enjoy an excellent working relationship with their team, and are continually finding ways to improve the supply chain with them. We appreciate Mouser’s speed of response, the wide availability of parts and reasonable costs. We also like the fact we can obtain almost any quantity of parts from them, including the ‘Mouser Reel’. BMK thanks Mouser very much for this award.”

Markus Diehl, head of customer centre and purchasing at Vierling, added: “This award is a great affirmation of our strategy for growth, based on offering customers value-added services. Key to this is New Product Introduction – which we call RfM – Ready for Manufacturing. Mouser is the perfect partner for this programme, delivering components very quickly with very high quality service. We are grateful to Mouser for this award and its partnership.”
