MORNSUN SMD Non-isolated Switching Regulators K78T-500R3/1000R3 Series

Leading global power conversion manufacturer Mornsun are pleased to introduce the K78T-500R3 of 0.5A non-isolated switching regulators and K78T-1000R3 of 1A non-isolated switching regulators. These two new series are designed to meet the reflow soldering production requirements, and known for compact size, high efficiency and compatible with traditional LM78xx linear regulators.

K78T-500R3/K78T-1000R3 series provide high levels of efficiency (up to 95%) and as result little energy is wasted as heated so there is no need for any additional heatsink components which require additional space and cost.

The peak temperature of reflow soldering is Tc≤245℃ and keeps 60s (Max.) above 217℃, which meets the IPC/JEDEC J-STD-020D.1 standard. Dimension is 15.24*11.40*8.25mm (about 0.6*0.45*0.32 inch). Efficiency is up to 95% and operating temperature ranges from -40 to +85 ℃.

These regulators have a wide input voltage range, up to 36V DC, and deliver precise output voltages. The range includes outputs of 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, 5V, 6.5V, 9V, 12V and 15V DC with an output voltage accuracy of ±4% max. These regulators feature line regulation of ±0.4% typical, load regulation of ±0.6% typical and ripple & noise of typically 30mV P-P (20Mhz bandwidth) for 1A regulators and typically 20mV P-P (20Mhz bandwidth) for 0.5A regulators.

Besides, these K78T-R3 series also feature continuous short-circuit protection, adjustable output voltage (±10%) and remote voltage control and so on, which are suited to many application including, but not limited to, industrial control systems, instrumentation, digital systems, electricity monitoring & control and battery powered systems. They offer a cost effective solution with lead times of typically 4 weeks for production volumes and samples generally available from stock.
