Luso Electronics Distribution has signed a distribution agreement for the UK and Ireland with APW Electronics, a designer and manufacturer of 19-inch racks and cabinets. APW’s IMRAK, VERAK and IMAGE ranges are well known internationally and the company has significantly expanded its range of products and services in recent years and now offers a high level of flexibility in the design of customised products and turnkey solutions.
Located in Turin, the company’s factory covers an area of 7000 square meters and provides production facilities, commercial offices and warehousing.
“The APW 19-inch racks and cabinets are an excellent and highly complementary addition to our portfolio”, said David Zelkha, managing director of Luso Electronics. “The APW products are highly respected in the electronics industry and we have high expectations for them, including the EMC/IP65-rated VERAK IP range for example, which is ideally suited for rail network applications.”
This is the sixth distribution agreement for Luso Electronics Distribution since its establishment in May 2011 as a division of Luso Electronics. Luso works with a limited number of complementary franchises for which the company provides expert technical and commercial support.
Luso’s other distribution franchises include: SynQor’s DC/DC and AC/DC power supplies; Elec & Eltek’s magnetic components; N2Power’s range of ultra-small high-efficiency AC-DC and DC-DC power supplies; Veetronix’s highly reliable keyboard and panel-mount switches and Andon‘s IC sockets and interconnects.
