LPRS launches IoT Cloud services partnership at Embedded World 2015

LPRS, a European manufacturer of short-range wireless devices, will be collaborating at Embedded World 2015 with its new IoT cloud services partner ESL Smart Solutions.

Barry Gillibrand, managing director of LPRS, commented, “We have made a strategic decision to add value to our easyRadio wireless modules by entering into a partnership with gateway manufacturers ESL (Eurosoft Systems), a provider of secure cloud solutions and services. It has become clear that customers are looking for turnkey solutions for IoT applications rather than designing-in wireless components and finding their own gateway and cloud-enabling technologies. We will be making further major IoT partnership announcements in the next few months.”

ESL Smart Solutions has been formed as a subsidiary of ESL to specifically address cloud-based solutions for M2M and the Internet of Things. By leveraging ESL’s highly mature EventMan Cloud platform and bringing together best-of-breed hardware components ESL is able to offer a full consultative and technology service. Solutions can be hosted by ESL or managed internally by clients or partners on their own infrastructure.

Russ Cole, managing director of ESL Group, commented, “ESL is actively engaged in developing solutions for telehealth, lighting, home automation and smart buildings. With its long history of supplying industrial wireless products LPRS is a perfect partner for us to grow our industrial customer base.”

LPRS is sponsoring a giveaway of 3 EventMan Cloud platforms including a one month complimentary cloud service package to potential users when they register their “Special Ticket” at the stand. Go to link to register for your ticket http://goo.gl/3Ck5St.

As a practical demonstration of the use of the platform LPRS will have a model stairlift in action showing the value of live data for alarm and predictive maintenance purposes being available to OEMs via the cloud.

LPRS designs and manufactures the highly successful eRIC and easyRadio Advanced (eRA) wireless modules in the UK. LPRS product range now includes; Raspberry Pi and Arduino Shield wireless platforms, antennas, wireless key fobs, a wide range of sensor products, Circuit Design wireless products and the IQRF range of wireless mesh networking components for telemetry, industrial control and building automation.
