LEMO compact splice tray with broadcast studio

This is the UK’s largest entertainment and media tech event which is, again, returning to the London ExCeL centre located in the heart of London Docklands.

Specifically targeted at the fast-paced broadcast market where “time is of the essence”, LEMO’s new Compact Splice Tray (CST) offers users the ability to quickly and easily install a space saving robust HD video bulkhead interface solution without compromising performance.

With each system accommodating up to eight SMPTE 311M hybrid fibre (HD) camera cables / LEMO 3K.93C SMPTE 304M bulkhead connector interfaces, it is ideal for mobile production and studio applications. By means of a portable automatic fusion splicer, it can be field terminated, making it suitable for projects where application constraints prohibit the use of pre-terminated camera cables.

Being modular by design, this versatile system can be easily configured to specific application requirements and therefore quick turn-around bespoke solutions can be easily supported.

With the UK broadcast industry leading the world in many areas, LEMO has further invested in its UK operations. The local business now offers extended engineering services to support the development of high-reliability electrical and fibre optic cable assemblies, as well as a quick turn-around bespoke connector service.

At the show LEMO will also exhibiting its industry leading range of standard broadcast interconnect and media converter solutions, which have been tried and tested at the most prestigious sporting events in the world including the London and Rio Olympics.

Supporting the show will be an experienced team of LEMO’s industry specialists who will be on-hand to offer customers advice.
