Latest heavy-duty brass circular connectors can handle tough industrial applications

Weald Electronics has unveiled LMG Brass, a new family of heavy-duty circular connectors designed for use in harsh or hazardous environments where high resistance to vibration and the ingress of liquids, together with a very rugged construction are key priorities.

Built around a heavy duty brass shell, LMG Brass circular connectors are environmentally sealed from IP67 to IP69K and can come as standard with 2 to 26 contacts in 19 contact arrangements although Weald can provide other contact layouts on request. Two connector types are available – threaded coupling and staple coupling.

Current capability is 1A to 60A depending on contact size and the connectors are available in various finishes although a clean brass finish is standard. They can also be supplied with straight or 90º backshells and in in-line, panel and cable mounting styles.

Weald Electronics expect LMG Brass connectors to be used throughout industry including geophysical, mining, marine and petrochemical applications.

LMG Brass is available through Weald’s sole Worldwide distributor Lane Electronics.
