KEMET offers expanded selection of component technologies

KEMET is now offering its customers rapid and reliable access to an advanced range of passive and electromechanical technologies from a single supplier. The company’s expanded portfolio brings together leading-edge products from joint venture partner NEC TOKIN.

KEMET, who announced its alliance with NEC TOKIN in 2013, has now integrated the full range of the Japanese manufacturer’s advanced technologies into its own broad selection of capacitance solutions. Its product line now includes supercapacitors, miniature signal relays, metal composite inductors, EMI cores, AC line filters, flex suppression sheets and an expanded array of tantalum capacitors.

The NEC TOKIN products will be available via KEMET’s existing global channels and customers will benefit from the same quoting and ordering process as well reliable delivery and technical support.

“We have long been known as the ‘Easy-to-Buy-From’ company,” said Per Loof, KEMET Chief Executive Officer. “The KEMET brand was built on providing superior global customer service and the collaborative engineering services our customers need. Now, our value proposition also includes a much larger presence in Asia, the NEC TOKIN product portfolio and its state-of-the-art manufacturing processes.”
