Conex-it Spring Clamp Terminal Blocks and Connectors
Hitaltech’s Conex-it range includes a complete range of PCB mounted Spring Clamp terminal blocks and connectors suitable for varying electronics applications.
Available from 2 to 24 ways in 2.54, 3.5, 3.81, 5.00, 5.08, 7.5, 7.62, 10.00 & 10.16mm pitch, the Hitaltech range of screwless terminal blocks and connectors suit applications where traditional terminal blocks have been used.
In these applications the tightness of the screw clamping on to the wire has been dependant on the installer, however Hitaltech’s screwless range remove this need, and the result is therefore a uniform connection across each terminal suited to applications where vibration occurs.
Another obvious benefit is the significant reduction in installation time as well as the possibility to use terminal blocks and connectors on a smaller pitch where space is at a premium.
The Hitaltech range of screwless terminal blocks are rated from 2A up to 57A and are available across a range of vertical, horizontal and angled connections.
The majority of the range is made up of modular pieces allowing for up to 24 ways to be produced.
The screwless terminal blocks are available on three different operating mechanisms including push button, lever and push wire.
Where push button and lever mechanisms are used, the pressing action onto the button/lever opens the clamp and the release of pressure will then close it allowing the clamp to grip onto the wire conductor.
The push wire mechanism requires the user to push a screwdriver into the terminal block therefore opening the clamp; the removal of the screwdriver will then close the clamp.
Hitaltech now offer an extensive range of RoHS compliant Modular Jacks for applications including Telecom, Data, Networking and Home entertainment.
They include single , multiport and double layered types in both shielded and unshielded versions , and those which include the option of LED’s and integral filtering.
Variants are available which are compatible with surface mount production techniques as well as those for conventional through hole technology.
A range of RF connectors including miniature connectors having a 50 Ohm impedance and operating up to 6 GHz are now available from Hitaltech.
Applications are found in test and measurement, GPS and wireless communications.
SMA connectors with 50 Ohm impedance are high precision sub miniature devices designed for microwave applications up to 18 GHz. Reverse SMA connectors are also available.
SMB connectors are sub miniature devices designed for repeatable electrical performance up to 4GHz. The SMB connectors offer a simple open close snap-on coupling feature and have an impedance of 50 Ohms.
Hitaltech have introduced an extensive range of USB connectors to the Conex-it range.
Type A is available as a right angle or top entry version and various multi port options including dual, triple, quad and mixed USB / RJ45.
USB 3.0 connector type A is available offering high speed specifications. Also available is the mini A type 4 pin SMT connector.
Type B connectors are offered in single port right angle and top entry versions, solder tail and SMT types may be specified. A mini B type 4 pin and Mini B type 5 pin SMT connector is also available.
