GTK has enhanced its range of letterbox TFTs to include new sizes to meet the diverse range of different market applications that use this footprint. These TFT modules can be used in markets and applications where traditional TFT sizes aren’t suitable, such as audio, consumer and 19” rack mounting products.
These full colour modules offer high performance in terms of brightness, viewing angles and operating temperature range. This upgraded range is available in 3.9”, 4.6”, 6.8”, 11” and 12.3” sizes.
Clive Dickinson, business manager for Optoelectronics at GTK, said, “We launched the letterbox TFT range in early 2015 and it has proved really popular with companies designing products for a diverse range of vertical markets. This upgrade to the range is in response to demand from the marketplace, allowing these TFTs to be used in an increasing number of consumer and industrial electronic products, such as audio devices, 1urack applications and advertising shelf labels.”
