Expert-led seminars at Micro Nano MEMS 2017

The annual Micro Nano MEMS exhibition will return for its 9th year in Hall 1 at the NEC, Birmingham on Tuesday 26 and Wednesday 27 September 2017. Dedicated to exhibiting the most exciting technology and discoveries in the field, the event incorporates an intellectually stimulating seminar programme delivered by experts in the industry.

Past topics have ranged from ‘Silicon nano-sensor and printed electronics integration in ‘future lab on a chip’ biosensing for early heart disease’, delivered by Dr J. Thomas from Yale School of Medicine, to ‘In-process detection of micro/nano scale defects in roll 2 roll manufacture of printed electronics’, presented by Liam Blunt from Huddersfield University.

Looking ahead to the 2017 programme, event manager Jacqui Henderson comments: “We are very excited for what will undoubtedly be another fascinating and innovative range of seminars delivered at this year’s show. Micro Nano MEMS creates an environment in which collaborations between research and technology can be consolidated, facilitating further advances within the industry.

“The seminars are of great interest to visitors, offering a wealth of knowledge and expertise on some of the most significant findings and progressions in the micro and nano manufacturing field. We are very interested to hear from any potential speakers from industry organisations, academics and companies and welcome presentations covering new discoveries and exciting developments within this fast developing field.”

Micro Nano MEMS offers exhibitors the perfect opportunity to showcase their latest technology at an event attended by key industry figures. Aaron Johnson, vice president of marketing & customer strategy at Accumold comments: ‘Micro Nano MEMS is a perfect fit for Accumold. Over the years this expo has been a vital part of our global strategy. Our primary focus at Accumold is micro moulding and micro technologies and this event has been a perfect place to tell our story. Each year we’ve connected with customers, met industry leaders, and learned new things about the world of micro. We’re excited to see what 2017 has in store and the opportunities it will bring.’

Registration for Micro Nano MEMS will open in May. For more information on visiting, submitting a seminar paper, and exhibiting visit
