Excelsys Technologies Announces Appointment of New European Sales Manager

Excelsys Technologies, leaders in high-efficiency AC/DC electronic power systems for mission-critical medical, industrial and military applications, announces the appointment of Don Schriek as European Sales Manager. Don comes from Avnet Abacus where he was the European Power Product Marketing Manager.

Mr. Duffy adds, “Don has a proven track record of success, and a fantastic technical reputation all across Europe, his understanding of the market and the critical issues facing our customers makes him an excellent choice to lead our Sales efforts here in Europe. His wider experience of the power component, power solution and value-added power systems markets will also make him an invaluable contributor to our Senior Management Team at Excelsys.



Don studied Electronic Engineering at Fontys Hogescholen in the Netherlands and has over 20 years’ experience in technical sales, technical marketing & product marketing.



This latest appointment follows the recent announcement of other management changes at Excelsys including the forthcoming retirement of Gary Duffy from his post of Chief Executive Officer with Conor Duffy to take over as CEO. Dermot Flynn has become Director of Sales and Marketing, Shane Callanan is now appointed to the new position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Brendan Forde becomes Quality and Manufacturing Manager. In the USA Excelsys has also appointed Anil Kurugode as Regional Sales Manager, North America, responsible for the U.S. Southwestern and Mountain regions. Anil comes from Astrodyne TDI where he was Regional Sales Manager in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.



These changes enhance the world-class global team of engineering, operations and sales personnel at Excelsys which has consistently produced double-digit annual growth rates and established Excelsys as the number one modular configurable power systems designer and manufacturer in the world.
