Embedded Artists Announces OEM Development Board for Industrial IoT

Embedded Artists announces the iMX RT1052 OEM Board which provides a quick and easy solution for implementing a high-performance Arm Cortex-M7 based design. The i.MX RT1052 OEM Board is equipped with NXP Semiconductor’s i.MX RT1052 crossover processor which is suitable for a wide range of industrial IoT (IIoT) applications that require connectivity, communication, real-time control and graphic displays.

Capable of running up to 600MHz, the RT1052 processor is designed to deliver the performance and integration of an applications processor while maintaining the ease-of-use, low power consumption and real-time capability of a microcontroller (MCU).

The i.MX RT1052 board supports 2D graphical acceleration and has a parallel RGB display interface up to WVGA 800x480px resolution. The board also features multiple connectivity interfaces as well as 512 KByte Tightly Coupled Memory (TCM) on-chip SRAM, 32 MByte, 16-bit databus SDRAM and Adesto Technologies’ 4Mbyte EcoXiP Octal SPI flash supporting high-performance eXecute-In-Place (XiP). In addition, it has high security enabled by AES-128, HAB and On-the-fly QSPI Flash Decryption.

Support from major microcontroller toolchains enables rapid and easy development, and the board support package (BSP) contains a FreeRTOS port.

The RT1052 OEM Board is sampling now. An optional version of the board is also available with WiFi, IEEE 802.11b/g/n, based on NINA-W13 from uBlox. Other solutions are available on request. Please contact Embedded Artists to request a quote.
