EBV LightSpeed Microsite – new resource looks to address customer lighting requirements

EBV Elektronik, an Avnet company and a specialist in EMEA semiconductor distribution, has launched a new microsite – lightspeed.ebv.com – that provides a comprehensive overview on how EBV supports their customers in and around the lighting industry.

The new site has been designed to support specific markets and applications within the lighting industry. It provides a list of EBV’s Lighting suppliers and partners to show who the EBV application experts work closely with to find the best possible lighting solution. To find the particular lighting products that fit the customer’s needs a product search facility is provided on this site. The Lighting Knowledge section looks to provide a detailed understanding of lighting terminology and includes details on all the lighting events that EBV takes part in or holds.

More information on the EBV LightLab is also shown on the LightSpeed microsite. The EBV LightLab makes EBV the first pan-European distributor to allow its customers to perform radiometric and photometric measurements across the entire light chain in a modern light laboratory featuring state-of-the-art equipment: from measurements of individual LEDs or LED modules right up to the complete measurement of entire lights up to a certain size. This enables customers to calculate and evaluate their lighting projects even more quickly and efficiently, thereby, considerably shortening their time to market.
