EAO’s commitment to design-in, supply and support into the UK and Ireland recognised by specialist manufacturer of encoders, rotary switches, joysticks and CANbus enabled keypads and displays
Grayhill Inc. has marked the 50th anniversary of its partnership with HMI specialist EAO Ltd. In a brief ceremony at EAO’s UK headquarters, Howard Bristow Grayhill’s European business development manager, presented the EAO team with a specially crafted trophy in recognition of the company’s long-term commitment to design-in, supply and support of the Grayhill product range in the UK and Ireland.
Accepting the award on behalf of his team EAO UK managing director Alex Grout said that EAO acts as a trusted extension to Grayhill’s design team: “We combine our sales and application engineering knowledge with Grayhill’s acclaimed development and manufacturing expertise to help customers fully appreciate how Grayhill’s cost-effective standard and customised products are able to solve their most demanding HMI design challenges,” Grout said. “Our target markets in the UK and Ireland include agricultural and construction vehicles, military equipment, industrial machinery and medical electronics. The Grayhill products are the ideal complement to our own range of high quality switches and custom HMIs.”
According to Grayhill’s Howard Bristow the partnership with EAO combined with Grayhill’s lean manufacturing techniques and vertically integrated production processes provides customers with innovation in cost, product reliability and logistics: “EAO has done sterling work in the market to develop fully customised and added value Grayhill-based product solutions for major OEMs,” Bristow said. “During our long partnership Grayhill has several times recognised EAO as its European distributor of the year.”
