With their latest investment in talent, Dynamic EMS has taken their superior manufacturing assurance to the top of the class.
Dynamic EMS are delighted to announce the appointment of Simon Revie to the position of quality assurancemanager. Mr. Revie brings over 20 years of quality management experience, translating British and International standards into practical processes that drive continuous development.
As quality assurance manager, Mr. Revie will be responsible for the leadership of the QA team of quality engineers and associated administrative personnel.
Specifically, Mr. Revie will lead Dynamic EMS’s efforts in:
- Maintaining current quality standards and approvals e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, OHAS 18001, ATEX 5396 and IPC-A-610F Class 3
- Planning and preparing for future investment into certification required to preserve their current competitive position
- Providing quality support to all departmental functions, to ensure that the entire company embrace the principles of LEAN and Six Sigma
- Leading the Quality Team in developing a companywide culture of relentless pursuit of perfection
On his appointment Mr. Revie commented: “In quality management, change and progress is a business essential, therefore, without question, I will approach things in a different way than the way they have been previously executed. For example, historically, Dynamic EMS hasworked ona paper-basedsystem which has served them very well to this point. I see my appointment as bringing the company up-to-speed with what our OEM customers require to guarantee fulfilmentwhilst we deliver a quality benefit of both our operators on the shop floor, as well as our valued customers.”
Mr. Gordon McDonald, process improvement manager, Dynamic EMS, added to this by stating: “Quality is a key value embedded intoour culture and this is founded on our management commitment to continuous improvement. 100 per cent customer delight is our goal. All of the services offered by Dynamic EMS are underpinned by our Quality Management System (QMS) which ensures complete traceability back to vendor and batch. It is our policy and commitment to our customers to deliver products and services to the specifications and quality standards agreed. All processes through the company are covered within the scope of BS EN ISO9001 certification. However, where required, a quality plan can be agreed with individual customers to cover their specific requirements. We are delighted to welcome Simon to the Dynamic team, he has already begun to make several suggestions that will greatly enhance our business operations.”
In November 2017, Dynamic EMS announced their ISO 13485 accreditation, which highlights their intentions to target the medical device market segment. Mr. Revie has brought to Dynamic EMS a wealth of experience in driving transformation, ensuring that it becomes part of the company’s DNA.
