A new range of waterproof connectors, suitable for LED lighting applications, has just been released to the UK market by Selwyn Electronics. Kent based connector specialist Selwyn introduced this new range to their customers earlier this year and are now finding massive interest due to the low cost, quality and range of sizes and options available in this range.
These connectors, which are predominantly circular connectors (but RJ45, D-Type, USB and HDMI versions are also available), are available in 5 different sizes, with three different locking styles, and with IP67 and IP68 levels of protection. This range of connectors has already been successfully used in LED display panels, LED tube and spot lighting, LED street lighting, LED floodlights and LED power supplies and drivers. In fact, this range of connectors is suitable for any reliable, cost-effective cable connection, particular when waterproof protection is required.
