EMISENS has announced that an enhanced version of its liquid identification system – EMILI TS – has achieved the ECAC (European Civil Aviation Conference) Performance Standard 2 industry benchmark for liquid explosive detection systems. Testing was carried out by an independent laboratory under ECAC’s common evaluation process.

According to the company the tests prove that the patented circuit architecture developed by SureCore delivers greater than 50% power savings versus industry standard SRAMs.

The display specialist Ginsbury has introduced a new Kyocera Advanced Wide View TFT display module. The 7.0-inch T-55785GD070J-LW-AFN has been developed to provide enhanced image quality and wide viewing angles with maximum colour accuracy. Advanced Wide View (AWV), Kyocera"s implementation of in-plane switching (IPS), is able to achieve a viewing angle of greater than 170° (horizontal and vertical) and ensures that the colour fidelity of the display image is accurately represented when viewed from any direction.

New from IQD, the IQCM-100 GPS advanced OCXO module has been designed for use in LTE and 4G base stations and is able to achieve a holdover specification of 1.5 microseconds over a period of 24 hours when locked to a 1PPS (Pulse Per Second) input from an external GPS receiver, and so meets industry standard holdover requirements.

The new AL8812 DC-DC converter with boost, buck and voltage-inverting modes from Diodes Incorporated co-packages a 60V, 3.6A-rated power N-channel MOSFET with all theprimary functions required by a DC-DC controller into the compact DFN6040-12 dual exposed-pad package, enabling a reduction in form factor of MR16 LED lamp circuits.
