Element14 has announced the launch of the Raspberry Pi Model A board in Europe. MSC Gleichmann has announced a partnership with Adesto Technologies to supply its Serial Flash product line as well as offer future releases of Adesto products. Mouser Electronics is now stocking elements of Freescale"s Xtrinsic eCompass solution, which includes MMA865x 3-axis accelerometers and MAG3110 3-axis magnetometers. Both devices combine ultra-small form factor in 2 x 2mm package size while offering impressive levels of performance. At 1mm height, the MMA865x accelerometers are 56 percent smaller, in terms of volume than previous Freescale accelerometers, making them suitable for low-profile, space-conscious applications.
