Avnet Abacus is now carrying a substantially augmented range of passive and electro-mechanical devices from leading global electronic component vendor, KEMET. The product line, which previously focused on capacitor technologies, now includes a broad selection of supercapacitors, miniature signal relays, AC line filters and metal composite inductors, gained through the company’s joint venture with Japanese component manufacturer NEC TOKIN.

RS Components (RS) has signed a global distribution agreement with FCT, a Molex company, to supply the company’s popular range of D-Sub interconnect products worldwide. This formal agreement cements a relationship that has existed between the two companies for several years, and has been established to provide a more expansive service to engineers developing applications in the medical electronics, industrial, telecom and aerospace industries, among others.

Distributor, TTi, is now stocking Honeywell’s TruStability board mount pressure sensors which offer long-term stability, reliability, flexibility, and Total Error Band. The pressure sensors come in miniature packages with DIP, SIP, and SMT mounting options.

Mouser Electronics has signed a global distribution agreement with Bosch Sensortec, a leading company in the field of Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS). Bosch Sensortec develops and markets MEMS sensors for consumer electronics. The product portfolio includes inertial, geomagnetic and environmental sensors, as well as software for various applications.

TTi is making available new Panasonic SD and Micro SD cards that include advanced features to meet the requirements of industrial applications. Panasonic has improved controller performance to increase both reliability and product life and the new FX, P and KC Series SD and Micro SD product ranges feature SLC (Single Level Cell) and MLC (Multi Level Cell) type NAND flash which significantly improves robustness and performance in comparison to products which use TLC (Triple Level Cell) NAND flash.

Rutronik is now stocking the dual phase synchronous rectified buck controller AP3595 from Diodes which has been designed to provide a high integrity supply for distributed high power architectures. The AP3595 is intended for high current applications like desktop graphic cards, IPC, MB and workstations.

Mouser Electronics is now shipping the new M24SR Dynamic RFID Tags from STMicroelectronics which come with enhanced security features for RFID and NFC applications, and up to 8KBytes of internal EEPROM. The M24SR Dynamic RFID Tag is NFC Forum Type 4 Tag compatible and supports tag functions for both RFID and NFC applications, operating in any of three modes.

Anglia Components has announced that it has signed a distribution agreement for the UK and Ireland with Teledyne LeCroy, a global manufacturer of bench test instruments. It is the first time that Anglia has offered test instruments, and the first time Teledyne LeCroy has appointed a component specialist to its network. Both companies said that the relationship will add value for customers, and strengthen their businesses by identifying new opportunities.

L2Tek, a manufacturers’ representative and distributor of components and sub-assemblies for professional video and high-speed communications systems, has announced the availability of the new generation of Valens chipsets compliant with the HDBaseT 2.0 specification.

Distributor of switching components Switchtec has been appointed as sole distributor for the specialist solid state relays (SSRs) manufacturer Kudom Electronics. The agreement covers the whole of the UK and is with immediate effect. The Kudom range will greatly expand Switchtec’s current SSR offering, particularly in the field of motor control.
