L2Tek, a manufacturers' representative and distributor of components for professional video and high-speed communications systems, is making available Semtech's GS6140 - the industry's lowest power adaptive cable equalizer that also delivers best-in-class cable reach at 6G UHD-SDI data rates without sacrificing its performance to equalize and restore received signals.

Rutronik is now stocking two new miniaturized infrared receivers (IR) TSDP34138/56 and TSDP34338/56 from Vishay that have been designed specifically for low-speed data transmission. They are optimised for low-complexity, low-cost signalling in metering, sensor, automation and gaming applications.

Distributor Mouser Electronics is now stocking the MachXO3 Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) from Lattice Semiconductor. The MachXO3 uses a new packaging technology that eliminates bond wires, increasing both the device’s performance and reducing its cost. This packaging approach results in increased gate and input/output (I/O) density while maintaining a small board footprint. The MachXO3 FPGAs are designed on a 65nm non volatile low power process technology and operate as fast as 150MHz.

Adept Scientific has unveiled two new, low-cost, 16-bit, multifunction USB DAQ devices from the Measurement Computing Corporation that offer sample rates up to 100 kS/s. The two models are included in the USB-230 Series.

Anglia has released the first major upgrade to its Anglia Live online sales environment with over 2,500 individual enhancements. The most significant include a fast search feature which halves the search time, comprehensive forward and back ordering facilities, volume contract pricing and the facility to search suppliers’ full database of parts including parts not currently stocked by Anglia.

MSC Technologies has announced the availability of the wide-format TFT LCD module (NL13676BC25-03F) from NLT Technologies. The new product’s key features include typical brightness of 1100 cd/m², a contrast ratio of 900:1 and a wide operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C.

Anglia Components has been appointed as UK and Ireland distributor for the passive component range of Samsung Electro Mechanics (SEM). Under the agreement, Anglia will have access to the full range of SEM passive components. SEM is the world’s number 2 in MLCC devices and this range will be a major focus for Anglia.

Future Electronics is to extend the scope of its ARM Accreditation Corporate Partnership to include ARM’s microprocessor Accredited Engineer qualification. Future became an ARM Accreditation Corporate Partner, the first distributor to do so, earlier this year.
