Renesas Electronics Europe has received VDE certification for its IEC60335-compliant self-test software for the RX100 family of microcontrollers. IQD’s new IQOV-164 series oven controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO) has been designed to deliver exceptional frequency stability performance at ±0.2ppb over an operating temperature range of -20 to 70 degrees C. This new ultra high stability model can also be specified to operate over a wider -30 to 75 degrees C temperature range with only a minor drop in temperature stability performance at ±0.5ppb.

Blighter Surveillance Systems, a British electronic-scanning (e-scan) radar and sensor solution provider, has unveiled Blighter Scout, a lightweight e-scan radar and camera surveillance system designed for rapid deployment in border security hot spots and other similar security applications. In a move designed to radically shake-up the RF VNA market Anritsu has announced the introduction of the ShockLine family of Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs). The new device combines high accuracy, sensitivity and sweep speed but at prices as much as 75% lower than those of traditional bench-top VNAs.

The new IQXT-210 series TCVCXO from IQD offers frequency stabilities down to ±0.14ppm over the full industrial temperature range of -40 to 85 degrees C. This model is, according to the company, approaching OCXO performance levels, whilst being packaged in a miniature 8-pad 5 x 3.2mm package.
