Knowles Capacitors has unveiled a Wilkinson power divider from their Dielectric Laboratories (DLI) facility. It is designed to provide in phase power splitting or combining over a broad bandwidth in low power applications. This is achieved by application of precision thin film fabrication with integrated resistors, coupled with DLI’s high permittivity ceramic materials, to provide a high performance and repeatable design solution.

Crystek's CVCO55FL-0200-0239 VCO (Voltage Controlled Oscillator) operates from 200 MHz to 239 MHz with a control voltage range of 0.5V~4.5V. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -123 dBc/Hz @ 10KHz offset and has excellent linearity.Output power is typically +8.5 dBm.

NI has unveiled the NI Semiconductor Test System (STS) series. These PXI-based automated test systems are intended to reduce test cost for RF and mixed-signal devices by opening access to NI- and industry-offered PXI modules in semiconductor production test environments. Compared to conventional semiconductor automated test equipment (ATE), STS lead users are experiencing reduced production costs and increased throughput and can now perform both characterization and production with the same hardware and software tools. This decreases data correlation time and time to market.

Tektronix has announced that its WFM8200 and WFM8300 waveform monitors and WVR8200 and WVR8300 rasterizers can now be easily upgraded via software to support 4K and UHDTV1, eliminating the need for customers to purchase costly hardware replacements in order to shoot, prepare and deliver 4K/UHDTV1 programming.

CSR has launched the CSRmesh Development Kit, which is intended to allow developers to start working with the recently launched CSRmesh Bluetooth Smart protocol. The kit, which will be available from selected CSR distributors from July 2014, includes development boards, a USB programmer and access to the development platform (SDK) which includes example applications to accelerate the development of new low power connected Internet-of-Things (IoT) products.

New from Yokogawa, the FG400 Series is a range of arbitrary/function generators that combine intuitive operation with comprehensive sweep and modulation facilities. The instruments allow the creation of basic, application specific and arbitrary waveforms, and feature isolated output channels which allows their use in the development of floating circuits in power electronics applications.

Agilent Technologies has announced that Smarter Micro has selected the Agilent PXIe modular vector signal test solution to accelerate the development of its latest  reconfigurable multimode, multiband power amplifier. Smarter Micro is a fabless semiconductor company that designs and develops radio frequency (RF) integrated circuits for the communications industry. The company is using Agilent’s test solutions in the design of its new S308 power amplifier, which significantly reduces the complexity of the fourth-generation mobile design.

IQD has introduced a new range of clock oscillators, which are at the forefront of modern clock oscillator design, delivering frequency stabilities as low as ±10ppm over the full industrial temperature range of -40 to 85 degrees C. Two versions are available offering different ceramic package sizes; the IQXO-445 series is housed in a 2.5 x 2.0mm package while the IQXO-430 series is housed in a 3.2 x 2.5mm package.

VPG has announced that its Powertron resistor brand has introduced the first seven devices in its S Series of precision foil current sense resistors. Offering a TCR of ±2 ppm/°C , believed to be the industry's lowest for high-power current shunts, the SHR, SHS, SNR, and SPR devices provide power ratings to 80 W in a variety of epoxy packages.
