Lattice Semiconductor and Leopard Imaging have released a dual camera module kit that allows the DaVinci TMS320DM368 video processor from Texas Instruments (TI) to interface to two 720p image sensors.  This kit is suitable for customers who are designing black box car drive recorders or other applications that require two cameras.

Ginsbury, a digital signage display specialist, has unveiled a range of Super Wide, LED backlit, high brightness displays suitable for public information displays and other digital signage applications. The new wide aspect ratio LCD display panels are available in a wide range of sizes from 9.0” to 38.0” and feature a number of different wide aspect ratios including 16:3, 16:6, 5:2 and 2:1.

As part of Kontron"s strategic entry into ARM processor technology, Kontron has unveiled its first embedded ARM based motherboard in the Mini-ITX form factor (170mm x 170 mm). The Kontron KTT30/mITX is equipped with NVIDIA"s Tegra 3 super processor and so is able to combine performance with particularly low power consumption.

Teseq, a developer and provider of instrumentation and systems for EMC emission and immunity testing, has introduced a new magnetic field coil that generates fields up to 1200 A/m during magnetic field testing.  The INA 703 is designed for testing to IEC 61000-4-8 (supply frequency magnetic fields), IEC 61000-4-9 (pulsed magnetic fields) and IEC 61000-4-10 (oscillatory magnetic fields) standards.  It is ideal for medical equipment, military, avionics, aerospace and industry applications.

Vishay Intertechnology has introduced a new series of three-phase cylindrical capacitors for power electronics featuring high current capabilities, nine standard voltage ratings from 400 VAC to 1650 VAC, and a wide range of capacitance values and packaging options.

Marl International has invested £150,000 to double its manufacturing output at its site in Ulverston Cumbria. The investment puts the company in a strong position to benefit from the rapid growth of a key emerging ‘green’ lighting technology. The line has been specially modified to handle PCB boards of up to 600mm long, much more than the standard length. Such boards are commonly required to replace conventional lighting products.
