Molex Incorporated has launched a Polymicro Technologies Capillary Configurator design program to help with the selection of simple to complex capillary tubing products. The online Capillary Configurator guides will help users to identify and submit product specifications and application parameters, which are reviewed by Polymicro’s technical team.

Vishay Intertechnology is offering laboratory sample kits of its high-stability thin film chip resistors. The TNPW0402 e3 (LTW0402 e3 96/4) and TNPW0603 e3 (LTW0603 e3 96/4) kits are intended to aid engineers in prototyping and speed time to market in a wide range of electronic systems.

Tektronix, a provider of test, measurement and monitoring instrumentation, has unveiled a fully integrated 40 Gb/s Programmable Pattern Generator (PPG). This 40 Gb/s PPG, along with the previously announced 40 Gb/s Programmable Error Detector now comprise a complete 40 Gb/s BERT solution. With 200 fs Random Jitter (RJ) and 8 ps risetime performance, the new Tektronix PPG4001 is able to support serial data testing at 40 Gb/s.

Launched at Embedded World 2014, IQD’s new IQMT-100 series Microcomputer Compensated Crystal Oscillator (MCXO) offers customers OCXO performance in a standard clock oscillator sized package. The design enables a frequency stability of ±50ppb (parts per billion) over the full industrial operating temperature range of –40 to 85 degrees C whilst maintaining a typical short term stability of 2E-10/s.

FTDI Chip has expanded its Embedded Video Engine (EVE) offering, with the introduction of the FT801, supporting intelligent display implementations with capacitive touchscreens. The FT801 possesses the same key elements found on the FT800, but also supports display, audio and touch functionality, with a capacitive touch element provided through an I²C interface which is connected to a standard capacitive touch controller.

Tektronix has unveiled the MDO3000 Series of Mixed Domain Oscilloscopes, incorporating six instruments into one device. This integrated oscilloscope includes a spectrum analyzer, logic analyzer, protocol analyzer, arbitrary function generator and digital voltmeter and is intended to provides the tools needed to test and debug virtually any embedded design.
