Xilinx unveils SDAccel development environment for OpenCL, C and C++

Xilinx has launched the SDAccel development environment for OpenCL, C, and C++, enabling up to 25X better performance/watt for data centre application acceleration leveraging FPGAs. SDAccel, the newest member of the SDx family, combines the industry’s first architecturally optimising compiler supporting any combination of OpenCL, C, and C++ kernels, along with libraries, development boards, and the first complete CPU/GPU-like development and run-time experience for FPGAs.

Passive oscilloscope probes operate over wide temperature range

New from Yokogawa the Model 702902 and 702906 are 10:1 passive oscilloscope probes that operate over a wide temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. As a result, they are ideally suited to use in accelerated testing and validation methods where temperature cycling is part of the test procedure. The 702902 is designed for use with the isolated BNC input modules of Yokogawa's DL850E ScopeCorder family, whereas the 702906 is intended to be used with the non-isolated BNC inputs of the Yokogawa DLM4000 and DLM2000 Series of oscilloscopes.
