Surrey-based Caltest Instruments has become the latest UK distributor to stock the test and measurement equipment manufactured by German company Rohde & Schwarz. With a focus on those products most closely allied to those it currently stocks, Caltest will concentrate on the supply of R&S spectrum analysers, signal generators and the latest range of powerful R&S digital oscilloscopes, the flagship R&S RTO and mid-range R&S RTM.
The RTO features the first real-time digital triggering system to increase sensitivity and functionality. Models are available at bandwidths of 600MHz up to 4GHz, with two or four channel operation and continuous acquisition up to a market leading 1,000,000 waveforms/second. Combining sophisticated analysis functions and an intuitive user-interface with touch-screen technology, the R&S RTO is a powerful tool for fault finding and error analysis.
The RTM shares the intuitive operation of its larger sibling and is available in two or four channel models at a bandwidth of 500MHz, offering Rohde & Schwarz quality in a compact package that is ideal for everyday test and measurement applications, or as a portable unit.
