Project management and development capabilities are available across both production sites with current projects implementing high pressure overmoulding for jumper cables and an on-going project in relation to M12 and RJ45 data cables.
The company’s cable assembly capabilities cover coaxial, multi-wire and panel cable assemblies as well as wiring looms, overmoulded assemblies and enclosure & box builds. In addition to conventional coaxial cables, also semi-rigid, hand conformable and corrugated cable assemblies are provided. Wide ranging production skills assist in the ability to also provide standard and complicated multiwire, loom and IDC ribbon assemblies. Telegärtner UK has produced complicated looms for existing customers in Broadcast and Industrial markets, as well as many wiring harness cable assemblies for the Telecoms and Marine industry to mention a few.
To complement the cable assembly capabilities, Telegärtner UK also offers panel assembly services. All panel assemblies are accurately designed, using AutoCAD in order to optimise the space and cable routes to give the best solution. Customised designs are offered using screen printing and PCB design skills to solve any design problems, resulting in offering bespoke panel assemblies and supplying the whole solution, manufactured and printed to customer specifications.

Telegärtner UK can provide turnkey solutions from R&D and procurement all the way to assembly. We can offer solutions made to customer specification and supply finished metal work painted & printed and populated with connectors, cables, switches, wiring or PCBs to suite any application. One of the key capabilities within Telegärtner UK is the overmoulded cable assembly manufacturing skills. Significant investments has been made to further enhance the moulding capabilities on site at Telegärtner Slovakian facility. With newly acquired Arburg and Boy moulding machines the high pressure moulding capabilities have been considerably expanded. The company has the capacity to develop projects from beginning until the end and supply a diverse range of customers throughout a number of industry sectors, such as Medical and Telecoms. In-house multi-purpose tooling design ensures that the full range of cables and connectors are covered and can be seamlessly changed to provide high volume quick turnaround capability.
One example of the company’s overmoulding capabilities are Telegärtner jumper cables with recently introduced new overmould design. These cables are widely established as the finest product of their type available on the market today meeting the most stringent specification against water ingress and environmental effects. Approved by over 50 European GSM, UMTS & Tetra Network operators and their installers, Telegärtner’s customers have profited from the superb reliability of the products supplied.
Furthermore, Telegärtner UK is also in a position to offer wire processing capabilities with recently acquired Komax Gamma 311 automated wire crimping and processing machines, meaning the company is well placed to deliver high volume, crimped and processed wires with short changeover times to service a number of industry sectors.
Besides cable assembly manufacturing services, Telegärtner UK also utilises to company’s high level of technological capabilities to offer customers cable assembly testing services, such as ATE for continuity and high potential, phase, delay, TDR, return and insertion loss to 40 GHz and PIM from GSM 850 – LTE 2.6 GHz. Every cable manufactured is tested and bespoke test protocols are available on request.
