AWS, one of Europe’s specialist contract electronics manufacturers, has announced that it will exhibit at MEDTEC 2015, the event that showcases new technology for the medical industry.
AWS CEO Paul Deehan commented: “The UK is a leading player in the development of innovative cures, treatments and technology. AWS has worked to support a number of medical companies for many years now. We manufacture complex equipment for our customers including state of the art cancer treatment and blood/fluid analysis devices.
“As the medical market continues to advance we are also working with companies in the medical tech start up arena. The Wearables market is a perfect example. All sorts of people – from design houses to medical staff working in their spare time – are coming up with ideas for devices which will significantly prolong and improve the quality of life for patients. Many of these are small, wearable monitoring and dispensing systems which require the latest manufacturing technology in order to make them small and light enough to be worn every day without discomfort.
