Astute Electronics, the leading supplier of electronic components and value added services, has signed a franchise distribution deal covering the UK and Ireland with Amphenol LTW Technology, the leading supplier of rugged and harsh environment interconnect products. Based in Taiwan, Amphenol LTW claims to provide the largest portfolio of waterproof connectors all rated at IP66, IP67, IP68 or IP69K.
Waterproof products available include circulars, RJ45, D-sub, USB, DVI/HDMI, power and hybrid, which address wide ranging markets such as renewable energy, marine, industrial automation, rail, lighting, security, medical, agriculture, commercial defence and electric vehicles.
