The first devices released are UVC LEDs emitting at 265nm and 280nm.
The new OD-265-001 and OD-280-001 LEDs feature industry-leading chip technology enabling high optical powers of 0.68mW (265nm) and 1.2mW (280nm) with a drive current of 20mA.
OD-265-001 and OD-280-001 are packaged in industry-standard TO-18 format with a quartz window cap the LEDs emit a medium beam angle of 70° FWHM.
The LEDs offer industry-leading reliability with an “L70” (degradation to 70% of initial output) of greater than 1000 hours when operated at 20mA DC in an ambient of 23°C. They also incorporate a protection diode to eliminate the risk of damage due to reverse bias.
AP Technologies supplies a wide range of standard UV LEDs from 255nm to 420nm in a choice of industry-standard single- and multi-chip surface mount and TO-style packages with wide-, medium- and narrow-beam options. We also supply multi-chip arrays.
We specialise in working closely with our customers and suppliers to develop bespoke LED-based solutions including:-
- High Power LED Arrays
- Multi-Wavelength LEDs
- Integrated Monitor Photodiode
- Integrated Protection Diode(s)
Our customers operate in diverse markets – medical, military, aerospace, scientific instrumentation, industrial and consumer – and our LED-based solutions are designed to meet their performance and cost objectives.
AP Technologies also supplies visible and NIR LEDs as well as laser diodes and thermal IR emitters. Our range of detector solutions includes silicon photodiodes and hybrid photodiode-preamplifier solutions as well as lead salt detectors (PbS for 1-3µm and PbSe for 1-5µm). We also offer spectrometers with solutions from 180nm to 2500nm.
