Anglia is investing in the future of light with the addition of LG OLED, a world leader in OLED light technology to its successful and fast growing portfolio of OLED lighting solutions. OLEDs provide a natural and pleasant light with low glare, no UV, low blue content and very little heat emission.
Commenting, Grzegorz Krol, manager of OLED Light Sales for LG OLED Light said: “Anglia understands lighting. They have a track record of partnering with top customers on demanding lighting projects and succeeding with them. We believe that they are exactly the right partner to take our exceptionally innovative lighting technologies to the UK market, and to help designers and installers create installations that look impressive and are tuned to the health and comfort of users.”
John Bowman, marketing director at Anglia, added: “Anglia partners with world leading suppliers to bring UK manufacturers, contractors and installers of lighting systems, best in class solutions addressing every aspect of a lighting project. The addition of LG OLED Light allows us to offer our customers the solutions they need to build the next generation of human centric lighting for commercial and domestic premises. Anglia has been supplying and supporting the solid state lighting industry for over ten years, providing a broad range of products with the emphasis on inventory, technical support and design guidance. We are proud to add LG OLED Light, a world leader in a lighting technology that is setting a new standard for comfort, appearance and performance.”
Luflex LG OLED light panels are a thin, lightweight, and sometimes flexible surface light source that provides a uniform surface light reducing the hard edged shadows which can be a source of eye fatigue. Luflex panels emit just 10 per cent of the amount of blue light emitted by LED light with the same colour temperature and luminance. The panels are ultra-thin (0.51mm for flexible, 0.91mm for rigid) and light-weight (20g for 100x100mm rigid), and flexible panels have a natural curve enabling them to be attached to curved surfaces. These features allow design concepts and new possibilities for artists, designers and architects.
LG OLED Light is just one of the new lighting suppliers that Anglia will be demonstrating at LuxLive (Excel, London, Nov 14-15 2018, Stand M2). The company is exhibiting a complete portfolio of the components needed to create and deliver winning lighting solutions, including lighting class LEDs, drivers, optics, interconnect, power and control and management technologies.
