Anglia Components today announced that it has been named UK Distributor of the Year in 2016 by Panasonic. The award recognises Anglia’s strong sales performance and successful engagement in various design activities, sales and marketing and inventory investment initiatives during 2016.
Commenting on the award, Max Jakob, distribution sales director EMEA, said: “Our distributors are a vital part of Panasonic and Anglia have successfully proven their ability and delivered a great performance in a very competitive market. I’d like to congratulate them on this much deserved award.”

Anglia were appointed as an authorised distributor for Panasonic in 2000. Anglia promotes Panasonics full portfolio of capacitors, resistors, inductors, switches, thermal materials, circuit protection, sensors, batteries and wireless connectivity devices. Application design support is provided alongside UK based inventories for the most popular product ranges.
Anglia CEO Steve Rawlins, recently announced ambitious growth plans for Anglia in the next five years as they aim for £100 million turnover and a 10 per cent share of the UK electronic component distribution market.
