New MindSphere solutions on display at SPS IPC Drives in Nuremberg, Germany, 28–30 November 2017
Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) and Siemens AG are collaborating on developing high-performance sensor-to-cloud solutions for Siemens’ open, cloud-based Internet of Things (IoT) operating system. They will showcase the technologies at the SPS IPC Drives show in Nuremberg, Germany. The new MindSphere-ready solutions from ADI are designed to enable efficient asset tracking and resource utilisation as well as condition-based monitoring and predictive maintenance. A key component of the solutions is ADI’s scalable SmartMesh wireless sensor networking technology, which enables sensors to communicate in tough Industrial IoT environments, with ultra-low power consumption, extremely high reliability, mesh networking software, and easy-to-use tools. ADI will also demonstrate a unique and secure end-to-end system for identification and authentication of electronic hardware as well as a real-world modelling, simulation, and analytical platform for customers’ cyber operational needs and advancing cyber resiliency.
“By collaborating with Siemens in the MindSphere ecosystem, Analog Devices is able to deliver high-performance sensor-to-cloud solutions that give MindSphere customers a competitive edge,” said Dr. Dzianis Lukashevich, emerging business director, Analog Devices. “Our new solutions will enable MindSphere customers to make their manufacturing and production processes more secure, efficient, and autonomous.”
The new MindSphere solutions are expected to be available from Analog Devices and Siemens in early 2018.
Analog Devices invites show attendees to explore its products, platforms, and solutions in the Siemens MindSphere Lounge at SPS IPC Drives 2017.
