America II signs distribution agreement with Altech Corporation

America II Electronics, a leading independent distributor of semiconductors and electronic components, has entered into an authorised distribution agreement with Altech Corporation, a U.S-based supplier of European components and devices used in industrial control, instrumentation and automation applications.

Commenting Brian Ellison, President of America II Electronics said, “Our goal is to continue building a robust line card so we can deliver the best solutions to our customers. This partnership allows us to expand our offerings and provide additional options for our customers in the US, Europe and Asia.”

Under the agreement, America II will have global distribution rights, with access to Altech’s product portfolio including terminal blocks, circuit breakers, fuses, enclosures and power supplies.

“Our partnership with America II presents an incredible opportunity,” said Dan Schuster, Vice President at Altech Corporation. “America II has significant sales coverage around the world and can help us extend the Altech brand into new markets. We’re seeking better worldwide distribution and believe America II can help us achieve that.”
